Experience
and Remark:
It was my first official oversea trip to other parts of Europe and prior
to this trip, five of my friends (two from Czech Republic, two from
Japan and one from Singapore) held numerous meetings to discuss about
this trip. It was challenging because all of us came from different
backgrounds, cultures and all of us have different ideals on how we
wanted the trip to be. We had several meeting together before we could
settle for the final plan.

Experience
and Remark:
This
is the most challenging trip in my exchange to Sweden. In this trip,
we traveled up to the most northern part of Sweden and Norway in train.
It happened last December and this whole trip lasted for two weeks.
Things that we tried out include dog sledging, rowing across river,
viewing northern light, searching for killer whale in Norway on a safari
boat and touring of the fjord. It took us two weeks to complete this
trip and in between we drove, took trains and planes to travel from
one place to another. There was a point where we traveled on a train
for more than 20 hours. Indeed it was a memorable Christmas and New
Year experience.

Activities:
Czech
Republic

to be a place for the communist.
• Stay at my friends’ house and mountain hut
• Skiing at my friends’ mountain hut
• Tour of Plague
Paris
• Visit Disneyland
• Visit Eiffel Tower
• Visit Louvre
•
Experience and remark:
Czech
Republic
Plague is one of the most beautiful city in Europe and the cost of living
there is extremely low. There is a worry among the people about how
the cost of living will rise in the coming year when the government
accepts Euro as the official currency. It was also my first experience
in skiing. There was a delay at the airport due to air traffic congestion
over the sky in Europe.
Paris
English is not widely spoken there. Generally the Paris trip was enjoyable
especially the trip to Disneyland. There was a Chinese New Year event
near Disneyland. Our trip to France coincided with the visit of China
president and for the first time, the Eiffel Tower was lighted in red
colour.
